MOVES is expanding mobile veterinary surgery in the greater Atlanta metro area with the addition of Rachel Tulipan, DVM, MS, DACVS (SA). A board-certified veterinary surgeon specializing in orthopedic and soft tissue procedures, Dr. Tulipan is available to serve general practice and emergency animal hospitals across the region.
Dr. Tulipan earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis, then completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012.
She went on to complete her surgical residency at the University of Illinois and was awarded board certification in small animal surgery through the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2017.
Dr. Tulipan has practiced in Atlanta, Georgia ever since, serving as a staff surgeon in the area from 2016 through 2025 and building nearly a decade of experience in the local referral community.
She performs a full range of procedures, but her particular passion is orthopedics, especially the treatment of cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) disease and the management of fractures. Whether the case is a routine surgery or a complex orthopedic procedure, her focus is on combining a high standard of surgical care with compassion and a steady hand.
Dr. Tulipan joined MOVES in 2025 and is focused on building strong, collaborative relationships within her partner network. Her goal is to make advanced surgical care more accessible and better connected for Atlanta-area clinics and their clients.
Meredith Jordan, Assistant
Alongside Dr. Tulipan is Meredith Jordan, Assistant, who brings a steady, patient-focused approach to every case. She supports all aspects of care delivery, helping maintain a high standard of treatment while ensuring clear communication and a positive experience for both clinics and pet owners.
Their partnership allows hospitals to incorporate surgical services naturally into their practice, without disruption to their team or their clients.
