Surgery

MOVES surgeons are Diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Surgery that perform advanced orthopedic, neurologic and soft tissue surgeries skillfully. MOVES board-certified surgeons work closely with the primary veterinarian before and after surgery in a team approach to ensure continuity of care for each patient. MOVES surgeons also act as a resource for primary-care veterinarians by providing consultations and are skilled at dealing with difficult and/or unusual case presentations.

Radiology

MOVES radiologists are Diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Radiologists. The mainstay of MOVES radiology is to provide accurate and complete interpretation of imaging studies. MOVES radiologists can also perform abdominal and thoracic ultrasonography, acquire diagnostic samples, and make recommendations for advanced imaging techniques and diagnostics. Teamwork between MOVES radiology and general practitioners allows for thorough and effective diagnostic and treatment planning for each patient.

Cardiology

MOVES cardiologists are Diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Cardiology). Cardiologists primarily perform echocardiograms but may also order, perform, and evaluate thoracic and abdominal radiographs, electrocardiograms and blood pressure. In the appropriate setting, some cardiologists may perform minimally-invasive surgery to help correct certain cardiac conditions. MOVES cardiologists assist primary-care veterinarians by consulting on cases related to valvular disease, congestive heart failure, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, and congenital heart defects.
