MOVES Internal Medicine is Now Available in Oklahoma City

MOVES® is pleased to expand its internal medicine services into Oklahoma City by welcoming Rebecca Tims, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM) to the company. Dr. Tims, along with assistant Elly Felder, is now offering advanced internal medicine services including ultrasound and endoscopy in clinics across Oklahoma City. Oklahoma City | Internal Medicine

Dr. Rebecca Tims was born and raised in Midland, Texas. She is an Oklahoma State fan through-and-through and attended OSU for her undergraduate degree, then veterinary school. She graduated from veterinary school in 2014 and completed a one-year rotating medicine and surgery internship at Kansas State University. She then returned to OSU to complete a three-year residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Tims achieved board certification through the ACVIM in the spring of 2023. Prior to joining Moves, Dr. Tims was a practicing internist in busy specialty hospitals in Fort Worth, Texas and Oklahoma City.

Dr. Tims enjoys all aspects of Internal Medicine, buthas a particular interest in infectious and immune-mediated diseases, she also has extensive experience in abdominal ultrasound and endoscopy. She has a particular passion for managing the internal medicine needs of geriatric pets and cancer patients.

When Dr. Tims is not seeing patients, she enjoys playing golf, fishing, and spending time with her husband and family. She has 2 dogs (Socks and Prissy), 2 cats (Piper and Emerson), and 2 red-footed tortoises (Rory and Scottie).

MOVES is also pleased to announce the addition of Elly Felder to our Oklahoma City team. Elly is an experienced veterinary assistant, and she will be working alongside Dr. Tims to make it even easier for general practice and emergency hospitals throughout Oklahoma City to host advanced internal medicine services.
