Dr. Boozer grew up in Georgia, and after many years away she is glad to be returning home. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kennesaw State University and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University in Alabama.

She then spent three years practicing general medicine in Georgia and three years in Florida. During that time she developed a love for ultrasound, which set her on the path to becoming a radiologist.

Her advanced training includes a one-year rotating internship and a one-year radiology specialty internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson in Arizona, followed by a four-year residency in Diagnostic Imaging at the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. She was awarded board certification in radiology through the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2022.

Following her residency, Dr. Boozer moved to Denver, Colorado to pursue her dream job of mobile ultrasound, and spent 2022 through 2026 as a radiologist in private specialty practice before joining MOVES.

Her clinical work centers on abdominal and thoracic ultrasound and CT interpretation across a wide range of species, from the furry to the scaled and feathered. She partners closely with referring teams to turn imaging findings into clear, actionable next steps.

Dr. Boozer joined MOVES in 2026 and is focused on building strong, collaborative relationships within her partner network. Her goal is to make advanced diagnostic imaging more accessible and better connected for Savannah-area clinics and their clients.
