MOVES is expanding mobile veterinary oncology services across Colorado’s Front Range with the addition of Erin Arnold, DVM, MS, DACVIM (Oncology). A board-certified medical oncologist based in Castle Rock, Dr. Arnold brings advanced cancer care directly to a select group of partner hospitals throughout the Denver and Colorado Springs corridor.

Dr. Arnold’s route to oncology began in Colorado. She earned her bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Colorado State University in 2002, then went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Drawn back to Colorado’s mountains and outdoor beauty, she has spent her career building specialty oncology expertise with the goal of practicing close to home.

Her advanced training was completed at Purdue University, where she finished a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery internship followed by a Small Animal Oncology residency. She earned an M.S. in Applied Statistics from Purdue and achieved board certification in Medical Oncology through the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) in 2011.

Dr. Arnold has practiced in the Denver and Colorado Springs area for over a decade, spending 2011 through 2026 in private specialty oncology practice before joining MOVES. That long tenure in the region means she arrives with established relationships and a working understanding of how Front Range hospitals and their clients navigate a cancer diagnosis.

Her clinical approach is multi-modal, drawing on some combination of chemotherapy, molecular targeted therapies, immunotherapy, electrochemotherapy, and supportive care depending on the patient. Her professional interests include electrochemotherapy for tumors of the face and mouth, along with treatment strategies to improve survival times for lymphoma, histiocytic sarcoma, and transitional cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder.

Alongside the medicine, Dr. Arnold is focused on the families behind each case. She works to provide high-quality medical care for her patients while offering emotional support to owners, helping them understand the options in front of them and make decisions they feel good about.

Dr. Arnold joined MOVES in 2026 and is passionate about expanding access to oncology care. She looks forward to collaborating with local clinicians to provide specialized treatment closer to her patients’ homes, reducing the travel and referral friction that often stands between a Front Range pet and advanced cancer care.
