Dr. Okonkowski, along with assistant Selena Green, is now offering advanced internal medicine services including ultrasound and endoscopy in clinics across Southeast Michigan. Southeast Michigan | Internal Medicine
Dr. Linda Okonkowski received her undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from Hillsdale College in 2012. After earning her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Michigan State University in 2016, she completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center. She then completed her Internal Medicine Residency back at her Alma Mater, MSU, in 2020.
Dr. Okonkowski enjoys all aspects of internal medicine but has a specific interest in gastroenterology and hepatology. She has extensive experience with abdominal ultrasonography, gastrointestinal endoscopy, rhinoscopy, and bronchoscopy. Dr. Okonkowski prides herself on being a doctor of integrity, appreciates open and honest communication, and emphasizes the importance of a team approach when managing patients.
In her free time, Dr. Okonkowski loves to swim (she was actually a competitive swimmer through her time at Hillsdale and even into her Residency!), read, and spend time with her husband and their two black labs.
Selena Green
MOVES is also pleased to announce the addition of Selena Green to our Southeast Michigan team. Selena is an experienced veterinary assistant, and she will be working alongside Dr. Okonkowski to make it even easier for general practice and emergency hospitals throughout Southeast Michigan to host advanced internal medicine services.
