MOVES Adds Internal Medicine to Los Angeles Area Services

Adding to the services of Dr. Danielle Yuhas, who has been providing mobile veterinary cardiology services to the region surrounding Hermosa Beach since starting with MOVES in early 2022, MOVESĀ® is now thrilled to offer mobile internal medicine services to the region by welcoming Nicole Strachan, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM) to the company. Dr. Strachan’s service area will surround the Costa Mesa area, and will share some overlapping territory with Dr. Yuhas. Nicole Strachan, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM)

Serving the LA metro communities surrounding Costa Mesa, CA

Dr. Nicole Strachan graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Dance. Prior to pursuing her career as a veterinarian, Dr. Strachan worked as a professional model and dancer, appearing in national ad campaigns and productions, and even touring with the Radio City Rockettes. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from University of Minnesota. Following graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Strachan completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at VCA Animal Specialty and Emergency Center in LA. Her training continued in San Diego at Veterinary Specialty Hospital where she completed a three-year residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine.

Jennifer Au is Dr. Strachan’s full-time Veterinary Technician.

Dr. Danielle Yuhas is originally from the Cleveland, Ohio area and obtained her veterinary degree from The Ohio State University in 2005. She then completed a rotating internship in New York City and a cardiology internship in Tampa, Florida. She relocated to the South Bay area of Los Angeles, where she completed a private practice residency in cardiology and obtained board certification in 2010. She fell in love with the area and made it her home, remaining in practice in the South Bay for another 12 years and ultimately joining MOVES in February, 2022.

Jackie Rosas is Dr. Yuhas’ full-time Veterinary Technician.
