Veterinary Oncology in the Front Range | MOVES Welcomes Dr. Jennifer J. Arthur, DVM, DACVR (RO)

MOVES is proud to introduce mobile veterinary oncology services in Colorado’s Front Range with the addition of Jennifer J. Arthur, DVM, DACVR (RO). As the first oncology specialist in this market for MOVES, Dr. Arthur brings a new level of advanced cancer care directly to a select group of partner hospitals across the region.

Dr. Arthur’s path to oncology is both unique and deeply rooted in a lifelong passion for animals. Originally earning a degree in English from Gettysburg College, she later pursued additional studies in Biology and Genetics at Colorado State University before going on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, completing her clinical training at Texas A&M.

Her advanced training includes a rotating internship at Kansas State University, a Radiation Oncology residency at North Carolina State University, and board certification through the American College of Veterinary Radiology (Radiation Oncology). Driven by a desire to offer more complete care for her patients, Dr. Arthur went on to complete a second residency in Medical Oncology in private practice, allowing her to provide both chemotherapy and comprehensive cancer treatment planning.

With over a decade of experience in oncology, including time spent in North Carolina working alongside the Duke Comparative Oncology program on research initiatives, Dr. Arthur brings both depth and breadth of expertise to her patients and referring partners.

Her clinical focus includes chemotherapy, cancer diagnostics, treatment planning, and long-term case management. At the core of her approach is a clear priority: maximizing quality of life while thoughtfully extending time with family. She is known for helping pet owners navigate difficult diagnoses with clarity, compassion, and a full understanding of all available options, from advanced treatment to palliative and hospice care.

After returning to Colorado, Dr. Arthur recognized a significant gap in access to oncology services, particularly for communities south of Denver. Through MOVES, she is helping expand access to care across a broader geographic region, supporting both patients and the veterinary teams who care for them.

Dr. Arthur joined MOVES in 2026 and is focused on building strong, collaborative relationships within her partner network. Her goal is to make advanced oncology care more accessible, more connected, and more supportive for both clinics and their clients.

Elsa Morales, RVT

Alongside Dr. Arthur is Elsa Morales, RVT, who brings a steady, patient-focused approach to every case. She supports all aspects of care delivery, helping maintain a high standard of treatment while ensuring clear communication and a positive experience for both clinics and pet owners.

Their partnership allows hospitals to incorporate oncology services naturally into their practice, without disruption to their team or their clients.
